Tickets for the Moose Safari

The easiest way to buy tickets for the moose safari is on-site at our souvenir shop, the Moose Shop.

You can choose between a guided moose safari tour by tractor and wagon or driving your own car on the safari.

You can also book in advance online—see below for details.

Should I Choose a Guided Moose Safari or a Self-Drive Safari?

– We always recommend the guided moose safari for the best experience and to get really close to the moose. The guided safari is appreciated by both young and old, and it’s exciting to ride in our wagons pulled by the tractor.

– Self-drive safaris have their own charm. You can drive at your own pace and take photos of the moose. However, you must remain inside your car at all times and are not allowed to pet or feed the moose.

Online bokning

If you wish, you can pre-book and pay for your guided moose safari online. Booking and payment are handled in collaboration with By Nordiq.
Once booked, you will receive a booking confirmation by email (PDF). If you need to change or cancel your booking, you’ll find contact information in your confirmation.

PS! You must always collect your ticket at the Moose Shop no later than 20 minutes before departure by showing your booking confirmation.
You must bring the ticket with you on the wagon. The guide will collect the tickets before departure!

Moose safaris in your own car can only be purchased on-site at the Moose Shop.

Each wagon accommodates about 16 people, and we use 3–6 wagons per moose safari tour.

Guided tours are offered in Swedish and English. German-speaking guides are primarily available Monday to Friday.

Can I visit the safari with my own car?

Yes, you can drive into the safari enclosure with your own car and observe our moose and fallow deer at your own pace.

How long does the self-drive moose safari take?

When driving your own car, you can take as much time as you like.

Can dogs join the self-drive moose safari?

Dogs are allowed in the car during the safari if they are kept in a crate. See more under Dog Information →
